The unemployment numbers for the US were released today.
10.2% of people are unemployed! (This is up from 9.8% for the previous month.)
That’s a jump of nearly 1/2 a percent. It’s huge.
Think about that fora second.
1 in 10 people who want a job can’t find one.
Of the remaining 90%, many are working jobs that do not generate enough income for their families.
Now, keep in mind that the way unemployment numbers have been reported has changed. Under Clinton, people who had been unemployed for a certain amount of time and still have not found a job – well those numbers were just removed! A pretty cool way to make the unemployment numbers seem artificially low, don’t ya think?
This shifting definition of unemployment has continued, and there are all sorts of rules and filters that make these numbers seem better than they actually are.
So this means that well over 10.2% of Americans are unemployed. A WHOLE lot more!
Now, as you may or may not be aware, America has moved away from being an industrial-production nation, which is what the level of income has really been based on. In the last 30 years or so, there has been a huge shift from production-manufacturing to service-based businesses.
Now this is all well and good, until you realize that only manufacturing really creates GDP growth.
The jobs are gone, businesses are not as profitable as before (due to the whole credit falling-from-the-sky thing).
So the high income jobs – you know the cushy ones – have vanished and are not being replaced.
And because the US don’t actually MAKE very many goods, there’s not a whole lot of jobs coming on the horizon.
OK, so this looks pretty grim.
Expect unemployment rates to continue to increase (even with all the number-fudging!) That’s just the lay of the land.
But, any change/crisis brings with it a seed of an equal of greater benefit. I’ve personally seen this play out time and time again in my own life.
The only real hope, in my opinion, is to profit from your own business.
Even in the depression, there were people who profited immensely. Smart people.
I would STRONGLY urge you to find a business so that you can support your family.
Job security: that’s the real risky move.
I’ve trained people who have replaced their entire income in under 60-days.
The question is, are you going to do it now, or wait until it gets a little bit worse?
If you want me to mentor you, just read this page here.
No form to fill out. No opt-ins. Just call me.
But only if you’re serious about replacing a full-time income in under 60 days.
